normand and thomson
Established in 1905, Normand & Thomson has built up an urivalled reputation of quality in the manufacture and installation of a wide range of fabrications in stainless and carbon steel; including tanks, pipework and associated equipment.
The variety of jobs undertaken has meant that we are capable of tackling almost any type of fabrication work in stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminium, copper and plastic. We can supply complete piping installations, and have extensive experience of installing conveyor/bulk handling systems and other turnkey projects.
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Light neutrals: Purity, balance and sophistication.
Dark neutrals: Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury.
Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty.
The name, its been around a long time and is recognised. The associated logo (attached) of the chain and hammer is a remnant of the days when N&T were copper smiths (copper is hammered to make vessels) It seems very old fashioned and we could let go of it, however a clever modern version of this if it can be done it could be outstanding.
Other things to emphasise: engineering, manufacturing,we work on our customers site, project management, pipework, welding.
We have a view the logo will remain the name but be brought up to date. It should be Modern, clean, engineered, dynamic and robust.
