Monarx Labs is a medical diagnostic testing laboratory that provides a complete range of tests for diagnosis, screening or evaluation of diseases and health conditions. The experienced technicians at Monarx use leading-edge technology to quickly and accurately provide physicians with test results for their patients.
Target clientele is primarily physicians and administrators at mid-size medical institutions.

Other notes
Allusions -- either literal or abstract -- to the monarch butterfly are preferred. Even better if the reference can be extended to include medicine, science, technology, etc.
Simple, modern and flexible are important. The logo will appear on "traditional" mediums ranging from websites to business cards but also on small test tubes, testing forms and other medically-related items. Therefore, it must be appealing in color and b/w as well as in large and small formats.
