Kadalyst got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Mocktail syrups logo that's free of alcohol, social pressures and dumb drunk fights

free to live your best life
Food & Drink
The products are small batch custom infused simple syrups for specifically mocktails, in which we'll create fun and entertaining content teaching people how to make amazing mocktails that don't need alcohol. There will be no language on our packaging to mix our syrups with alcohol, like every competitor we've come across. Though you can mix with alcohol, we chose to market our product to be "free" of alcohol, "free" of chemicals, but also free of social pressures, free of DUIs, free of guilt, free of anxiety, free of hangovers and free of dumb drunk fights. Our brand "FREE," is to play off the phrase "free drinks," because who doesn't like free drinks?! But most importantly, the word "free" is about freedom of expression, freeing yourself from addiction, perhaps even a bad relationship, while being empowered and free to live your best life.
We want the word Free to stand out it's own (not Drinks) and be the actual symbol/logo, because the word is so powerful on its own, that another icon might create confusion, but we're open to ideas. "Drinks" should be less prominent, as we're trying to create a bit of shock value with the word “Free” and a brand worth sharing due to its "catchiness," but also its mission. Final notes: Please keep in mind this logo will be placed on 8-16 oz. glass bottles that will hold our syrups, so the logo needs to really stand out, so people take notice. A lot of our competitors have the name of flavor more prominent. We want our brand to be the main point of reference and the flavor secondary. Social media will be the main outlet for marketing, so having our logo that's very legible on Instagram, YouTube and TikTok will be key.
