MetroWebDev got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Mobile Content Provider - New Company Launch
Check out MetroWebDev's Logo design contest…
Company Name: S2M. Looking for a logo with a strong, but simple visual cue that represents the company's core service as a satellite to mobile content provider. Please read full brief
What's your vision?
Desired Color Scheme: Blue: R 34 G 66 B 114; Orange: R 249 G 158 B 28; Grey (open for interpretation) currently using R 170 G 168 B 165 Desired Style: More corporate. Hinting at technology/innovation OR mobile technology Accepted File Formats: Vector Formats (.eps, .pdf or .ai) The company's name is S2M, meant to represent "Satellite to Mobile." The company provides its service in countries with more advanced mobile technology than the United States, so they are able to offer live TV and interaction (like downloading a song or video from the screen as you are watching MTV). On the scale of fun/hip to corporate, S2M is on the corporate side and the logo should reflect that. Eventually they will be branding their service offerings with a little more fun and hip feel (think of Apple as corporate, but with the fun advertising feel of the iPod line). It would be GREAT to have a strong, simple visual cue that could be taken from the corporate logo and used in other names to create coherence across all brands.Â
