How rachel_gruver started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
This logo will be for a research study about health insurance and health care use, called U-PIC (Understanding Preferences for Insurance Coverage). We want something that will help participants recognize our materials when we contact them in the future. Our target audience is adult health plan members (ages 18 and up).
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
We are looking for a logo that looks good both in grayscale and in color.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
We would like a design that’s modern, clean, simple and professional, but memorable. We’d like the design to include the name (U-PIC; not the full title written out) and some sort of shape/object. One idea for this is an apple, given the name U-PIC (and because of the connotation of “an apple a day” is associated with health and keeping the doctor away), but we’d love to see other ideas too.
We have created a Pinterest board of designs we like: https://www.pinterest.com/rachel_gr…o-designs/
The logo will be used in outreach emails and on printed survey mailings, some of which will need to be in grayscale and some of which can be in color, so we'd like a logo that looks good both ways.
