How josephsorbellopac started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Medical Marijuana Practitioners (Maine)
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I am a Physician Assistant who started a mobile certification service for medical marijuana 8 months ago. I have an ambulance that needs logo and branding. I want to use the Star of Life that you find on all ambulances and exchange the blue star with a marijuana leaf, leaving the Rod of Asclepelius, (single snake around a staff) as the base for which everything else emits from.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?

This logo will be for a Medical Marijuana Certification business. I am trying to convey a professional, clinical service. I would like to mirror most ambulance design we see on the street so as not to stand out in a gaudy way. We do not sell or provide marijuana products in the ambulance only Medical Evaluations.
We have a Mobile Certification Unit (MCU) that is the ambulance. I would like the base logo to be the Rod of Asclepius nestled in the center of a realistic looking marijuana leaf.
I would like two forms of the logo:
1. Just the marijuana leaf and with snake and staff with no wording, which will be placed on the back window and side panels of the body of the ambulance, 50cm circumference. We will put the name 'Medical Marijuana Practitioners.com next to the logo on either side of the ambulance nest to the logo
2. the marijuana leaf and rod and snake with the company name surrounding, creating a patch or seal type effect, with a space to represent the State we are from (Maine). That gives us ability to have other states represented in the future.
I will put this on the side doors of the engine portion of the ambulance 30cm circumference; as well as being able to use this for poker chips, shirt logo, business cards and letter head.
I am considering removing the red and yellow striping if that is a difficult color to match up.
