We are looking for a clean, fresh, modern print/web logo design for our Internet marketing company, Maverick Internet Ventures.
"Maverick Internet Ventures" or "Maverick" or "MIV"
We develop, operate, and market many online businesses in many different verticals, so our logo needs to be versatile. The new logo (this contest) and eventual site redesign (future contest) need to have their conceptual roots in our company philosophy: Contrary to the conventional approach of "there are no wrong answers," we believe that there are many, many wrong answers, and the path to the "right answer" is often strewn with all the wrong ones. We diligently aim to create an intellectually open environment where ideas flow and innovation is built on honest, respectful debate, followed by testing, testing, testing.
Our official name is "Maverick Internet Ventures," but your design need not necessarily include the complete name. We are open to simply using "Maverick" or "MIV." Additionally, we haven't chosen a color palette we'd like to stick with, but we're fans of "Chrome" (by xxxfanta2), "Moonwalk" and "Diesel" (by matthepworth) on Kuler (http://kuler.adobe.com). We're also fans of grey/silver/ blue gradients. Don't let these comments hinder your creativity though! We're open to trying new things.
Please make sure your designs are flippable - so they work with both a dark and light background. All art needs to be in vector format like that produced by Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator.

- Cheesy Stock Photography.
- Light bulbs.
