Mascot and logo for badger.com

We are a domain registrar (like GoDaddy).

We are looking for an illustration of a badger to be used as our corporate "mascot". It will be an important part of our brand and will be prominent on our webpage (badger.com), on our business cards, and on merchandise (t-shirts, coffee mugs, etc). Badgers are often considered to be fierce animals with sharp teeth. We want to go the opposite direction with our mascot and instead portray him as cute, friendly, playful, innocent, etc. I've attached three images: mailchimp.png - This is a screenshot from mailchimp.com. Their chimpanzee mascot has many of the qualities we're looking for in our mascot. orangutan.jpg - This was painted on a wall by a local artist. This also exhibits some of the playful and innocent qualities we're looking for. badgers.png - This is a screenshot taken from badgerbadgerbadger.com of their viral video from several years ago called "Badger Badger Badger". It's a fairly well known internet meme that we don't want to be confused with. Additional Comments: ------------------- 1. We are expecting the final submission to be in vector graphic form (Adobe Illustrator, etc). 2. We are expecting original art work. Please do not submit stock clip-art or copyrighted/licensed material. 3. Please don't submit "merchandise pictures" (example t-shirts, mugs, keychains, etc). Focus instead on creating the best entry possible. 4. If you submit an entry that doesn't contain a badger, it will be eliminated.
