Our designer worked well with what we were looking for, every little change we asked he did great!
How Michael Roth started their logo design journey
We're looking for a sleek and modern logo to accompany our service. We will be using this logo for our offices, letterheads, and advertising.
I imagine this should be relatively simple. There aren't too many constraints and from what I've seen on this site so far, I've been fond of most everything. It'll be hard to pick a winner - but I'll make it guaranteed.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We provide specialty services for fraternity and sorority houses. Keeping our costs as low as possible is what we do best and going without a logo for seven years attests to that.
I have played with the prospect of integrating a G and an H together in some kind of format, with them intertwining, with the H becoming the interior section of the G - and nothing has really worked. If you think you can come up with something that looks good then have at it.
Beyond that, we have also toyed with the 'house' idea but haven't really gotten anywhere.
I will note that I would like something original. I am not creative and thus I haven't been able to think of anything particularly interesting, but I would prefer to stray from 'Greek House' text inside an oval with an outline of a house above. Originality gets points for sure.
I tried to make it 'guaranteed' as I saw people mention this but couldn't figure it out. We are late to the printers and we need a logo ASAP so someone is definitely going to win.
- Something small or compact. Not a necessity, but if I can put it on a business card then that'd be a plus.
- Unique. Clever.
- Color scheme isn't too important. If it looks good we can change our colors. Preferably not anything audacious like pink or lime green.
- Preferably a more modern style.
- Antique or classic looking
- General Hospital logo
- Something that looks bad
- Anything stencil-y
