Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our company makes and sells nutrition bars in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our target audience is the active community in San Francisco who adhere to the Paleo/Primal lifestyle. This group of consumers strives to emulate an ancestral way of eating in the modern world by eliminating processed foods and focusing solely on whole foods that could be found in the wild - many refer to this way of eating as the "Caveman Diet."
TARGET CONSUMER -
Primal/Paleo consumers tend to have a "no-frills" attitude and place a special premium on products that are minimalist and basic in nature. Our target audience is also a more physically active bunch and spends a lot of their free time outdoors (i.e., they would be more likely to jump in and swim across a river rather than walk around it). Our core consumer group also participates in the CrossFit workout communities that have become popular in the area.
The Paleo/Primal consumer gravitates towards brands that are more minimalistic/rugged/balanced/primal in nature.

Please incorporate an image of a Wooly Mammoth into the logo since this is our image connection to a prehistoric past.
Please also include the slogan name "Paleo for the Modern Man"
Feel free to drop the name "Mammoth Bar" if you feel there is too much logo text and the image properly represents the Mammoth concept. Drop it especially if things become too cluttered.
We included a few mock-ups ("Dandy Mammoth Bars") that should help convey the basic nature of our intended brand look-and-feel. The nutrition bar itself will be wrapped in a basic material with a similar appearance and texture to a brown paper bag.
