Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
PortPy - Portable python to anyone anywhere - aim to bring computational thinking to non-English language speakers. We separates programming learning from (natural) language learning, such that people who do not know English can learn programming concepts and abstractions in their native language. While we'll focus on Portuguese (Brazil), the project is generalizable to other languages. PortPy wants to open the access to programming by removing the language barrier that now exists. Understanding English should not be a requirement for learning the basics of computer science and programming.
