Can you make my dating website logo stand out?

Apple Fountain

I'm looking for a design that's simple and memorable.

This is a dating website, but that doesn't mean that the logo needs to be overly explicit about dating (i.e. the color red, hearts, rings, etc). The audience is people aged 18-35.

I am fairly certain what I want the logo to look like, but if you feel you have a great idea that doesn't match it, feel free to submit it.

The name of the website is Apple Fountain, so my idea is to have an apple with a little jet of water (the fountain) coming out of the top where the stem would be.

For colors I'm thinking yellow/gold, light blue, or both.

As for style, I need a design that's ***clean, elegant, and simple***.

Also, there needs to be enough differentiation with the Apple Computer logo so there's no confusion between the two.

I haven't decided whether to have the text "Apple Fountain" as part of the logo or separate. I'll leave that to you.

I'd be interested to see if anyone create a design using the globus cruciger (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Globus_cruciger) as an inspiration. By this, I mean a symmetrical fountain on top of solid golden orb. This is just a suggestion.
