This design met the brief very well and conveyed the modern look we were seeking. The designer provided a number of variations to help us to decide on the final logo and responded quickly to requests for amendments.
JSchafe was able to communicate the vision I had for the logo both personally and through his creative process. The communication was constant and that was one of my favorite parts about working with JSchafe.

Lynk is an on-demand, commuter airline making the connection between rural communities and big-city airports. Customers value the benefits of clean, simple living and want to take the pain out of traveling for hours to get to the nearest airport. Likewise, city dwellers seeking a getaway to enjoy the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest can enjoy a smooth transition from SeaTac airport instead of hours of traffic and ferry lines.

As an airline, some form of the logo will be painted onto the airplane. We've included a picture of the airplane for context... the livery of the airplane will be the next 99 Design, which we feel should have a common logo. The airplane will need to be distinctive from a distance. One of us really likes the bold red color and the Mona Lisa Font. :)
We've also included a travel poster we've modified with a small airplane and our name. We've looked at a lot of art and really like the crisp, colorful, modern, upbeat feel of the poster. We want people to feel good about their travel. We feel like our web pages will also have a similar feel; graphics rather than photos.
