jos.deldime got their new logo design by running a design contest:
LunchPad: Order lunch, Fast & Easy. But first: design our new logo!
Check out jos.deldime's Logo design contest…
Food & Drink
LunchPad will be a website that helps users order their daily work lunch and keep track of their lunch budget from pc as well as mobile devices (tablet, smartphone) Target audience: LunchPad will be launched in Europe for an audience of companies and organisations with employees that regularly order lunch (baguettes, sandwiches, etc...) from food shops (snack bars etc) that deliver at the workplace.
Logo types to explore
The logo should be recognisable even when used small. Logo will be used on: - the LunchPad website & mobile app - printed documents like business cards, etc… Some key words that might inspire you: - lunch (mostly baguettes) - rocket taking off (to express fast ordering and also hints at our name 'launchpad') - pad (as in launchpad but also in iPad - the tablet) - or any other bright ideas you might have… An example mockup of a Baguette sandwich with rocket wings has been included only as an example of combining two key ideas (baguette + rocket). We expect a graphical logo, do not use photos like in our simple example. Slogan should not be incorporated in the logo but at the moment we plan to use "Order Lunch. Fast & Easy." One small sidenote, but maybe less important for the actual logo design is that LunchPad plans to contribute a small part of it's profit to support (micro-)entrepreneurs in third world countries (...helping them "Launch" their own businesses)

Ryan was very fast and the finished product looks great, only minor issue is the sizing for graphics weren't properly done for mobile and tablet. Besides that communication was top notch and I'm happy with the delivery.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
