Railworksllc got their new logo design by running a design contest:
LowDown Coffee needs a clever & memorable logo!

Food & Drink
What's the LowDown? We're a small coffee joint with a rustic-urban/small-town rural vibe. Think brick exterior with warm woods and exposed steel trusses inside. We're in ... (wait for it) Lower Downtown. We're in the heart of a river city, too, which is something that COULD be incorporated into the logo if you're up for a challenge. "Downtown" here isn't glass sky-scrapers and neon lights; it's the Main Street Diner and striped awnings. Our audience is all-inclusive. Being at LowDown should never feel pretentious or foofy. People mosey in and feel right at home. You'll discover your new favorite musical artist playing on the stereo. You'll ask, "Hey, who's that?" Lock your bike up outside and have a seat by the window. Added: We'd like a coffee cup incorporated into the logo, and we do like clever. (ie the cup isn't obvious at first) The river can be incorporated but that isn't critical. It shouldn't over-power the name "LowDown" or "coffee." Sometimes less is more. Thanks! Also added: We think the LowDown logo should say "coffee" without using the word "coffee."
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors: Brown & Black Deep colors that complement our red brick exterior. Feel free to make suggestions:
