How BBQ Collective started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
The BBQ Collective
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The BBQ Collective is a group of individuals passionate about and dedicated to spreading the gospel of American BBQ. We pride ourselves in delivering not only traditional American barbecue but also experimenting with new flavors and techniques, whilst staying true to the origins of BBQ. Our mission is to work with local providers of the very best UK meats and produce to deliver genuine American barbecue via small events and pop-ups, whilst looking ahead to a larger business model such as a catering business or a full service bricks and mortar restaurant.
Our primary target audience: London-based barbecue and meat lovers
Our secondary audience: Barbecue and meat lovers in the UK, food critique/bloggers, food and music festivals.
Our brand should be catchy, fun and modern; NOT the kitschy typical American BBQ branding.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Our logo will initially be featured on our socials i.e. Facebook,
Twitter and Instagram so will need profile pic and cover sizes. We
also will use it for physical banner. You can find out more about us
on http://www.bbqcollective.co.uk or Facebook.com/bbbqcollective
We primarily work with pigs, cows and chickens (ribs and wings) and
will be open to simple and modern pictorial element of any/all of
these farm animals to be incorporated into our logo. Also font should
be in sans serif. We're currently a mobile food concept so these
animals driving or riding in a moving vehicle i.e. mobile smoker, van,
car could be fun as well.
