Lottery Rewards is the first lottery retailer merchandising and customer loyalty program. It's a branded system that will be utilized by retailers to help increase their lottery sales. The program will grow to be like other rewards/loyalty programs where consumers are rewarded for their spending on certain products from a certain brand. The program will be universal so it can be implemented by retailers in different states (which have their own lottery names, ie., NY lottery, CA lottery, etc.). Retailers are all stores that sell lottery products, ranging from small mom-and-pop stores to larger chains like gas stations, 7-11, etc. Target audience is first, lottery players and second, all convenience item customers who will see Lottery Rewards brand at point of sale, like other lottery products. Consumers should develop an affinity for the Lottery Rewards brand and seek out retailers that use this program as they know they will benefit through the rewards program. Rewards will include chances for cash prizes (thru sweepstakes drawing) as well as other in-store items such as a free soda and other convenience store items.
