I had a great experience working with TheCharmingRascal. He did an amazing job taking my design brief and providing spot-on interpretations of what I was asking for. He responded immediately to my comments and feedback, and was able to make changes that I asked for quickly and skillfully. I'm very happy with my logo! I wouldn't hesitate to work with him again.

Provide organizational learning services for libraries, non-profit agencies, and mental health practitioners. Specialize in instructional design, elearning development, and online event production (aka webinars). Also provide consulting services related to organizational development, visual communication, presentation design and delivery, and social learning within organizations. Focus is technology and online services (e.g. online learning more than face-to-face training). A portfolio of past work (gives a sense of my own design work and the scope of services of this new business) is here: http://www.mbfaccioli.com.

The primary thing I want the logo to communicate is "transformation" which is what "alchemy" is about, and is what happens when we learn. The business is all about learning, whether learning for the individual or organization, or, how the individual or organization teaches others. I have considered the use of alchemical symbols in a logo, but they are very abstract, unknown, and tend not to look very modern. I would like the logo to give a sense of transformation, but, please no butterflies, or other morphing bugs, unless what you develop is so awesome I would be an idiot not to consider it. I'm currently using an image of a lightbulb as a logo stand-in, which gets at the learning/idea concept, but, I'm ultimately looking for something that gets at the *change* that happens in us when we learn.
