There are much larger companies like "Stryker" "Smith and Nephew", "DePuy Synthes" that we are in competition with.
I have not included the current logo, as I'd like to see a full refresh.
Since we have been trading with the company colours of Green and greys, sticking to these is advantageous.
We sell orthopaedic products, which include, hip/knee replacements. Trauma, spinal implants, shoulder and ACL screws.
We DO NOT sell anything dental.
I'd also be hesitant to have one particular product incorporated (like a knee) as it has little to do with the other aspects of our work. (A neurosurgeon doesn't want to see a shoulder screw etc.)
A symbol, if you want to add one, should convey medical/orthopaedics generally.
Logos that translate to laser marking, ie single colour are of great value.
We can have a primary full colour version for most indications, then a basic single colour version for laser marking.
We need to mark all our instruments and implants with this logo. Often on a very small scale. Therefore logos that are too intricate may not translate well.
