How ReneeBurkeMD started their logo design journey
Renee Burke MD, Plastic Surgery
I am a new, young, female plastic surgeon opening a practice in the hip midtown & chic buckhead regions of Atlanta. I am looking for a classy, timeless logo with just enough edge to catch the consumers eye and enough elegance to carry with me throughout my career. Also, it is important the design look professional, as I have completed a full plastic surgery fellowship and am not a physician trained in another field dabbling in plastic surgery.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
My target audience will include very discriminating patients from the trendy, hip, mostly gay men in the midtown region to the affluent ladies in the buckhead community. I will also draw a large number of young females looking for a female surgeon they will relate to.
I am open to all designs gender neutral. I like yellow, possibly with gray or charcoal. I am not opposed to a watermark or design incorporated in the logo, but NOTHING CHEESY (sorry, I don't mean to insult your artistic integrity, but no flowers or butterflies!). My current business cards have a large B at the top ,which may be somewhere to start. Additionally, I like modern fonts, possibly something that could look like the curves of a body, since it is for a plastic surgery website! Good luck and I hope you have fun with this.
