I am in charge of IT and software development at EBF & Associate and I'm working with a designer to develop a new website for our company. We would like to consider a new logo at the same time.
Our company is a private investement firm,a hedge fund in the popular venacular. We have been around for 22 years which is a long time in this industry. Our clients are large pensions, endowments, foundations, and wealthy indivuduals.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Professionals responsible for Pension, Endowment, and Foundation investment. A conservative group in general, age 30-60.
They don't twitter :-)
I have attached the existing logo. It's not well loved. Complaints I've heard;
- Don't like the green
- Don't like the Block style letters
- Don't like the ampersand
The logo will be used on a new website, our existing website http://www.ebf.com is very sparce, a basic placeholder. It will also be used on letterhead.
The acronom EBF is made up of the first letter of the last name of the three principals who started the firm 20+ years ago. Only one of them is currently still with us. The acronym EBF must be a part of the logo.
Would like to see logos that have a lineage to the orginal logo as well as completely fresh designs.
Does not require "A Limited Partnership". Can include graphical elements in additional to Text.
We are a midwestern company which is somewhat unusual, most firms like us are NY based.
