Mike is fantastic. He's talented, flexible, and easy to work with. His attention to detail and ability to foresee how designs will translate into different media are remarkable. This is the second project I've worked on with him and I will continue to send all of my design needs his way.

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I own an eCommerce site that sells tech integrated, and work-from-home friendly furniture. The furniture isn't cheap, but the feel of the logo still needs to be fun. I am targeting myself essentially- the tech startup urban 'hip' type 25-45.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Oranges: Creativity, adventure and happiness.
Dark neutrals: Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury.

http://www.ceoinpjs.com I love retro and a touch of vintage throw-back (see logo "Launch My Shirt" below). I also like the feel of lower case letters, as the concept of a CEO is loud enough without the caps. I am using orange for accent colors on my site, but it isn't imperative to incorporate orange into the logo, so long as the logo goes with the color orange. "CEO" and "PJs" are words that don't naturally 'go together', so I want the feel of the logo to have that irony and fun in it. The furnishings I sell, however, are generally expensive, so it must also convey this. If the logo incorporated some tech elements, that would be a bonus. Maybe even something hidden/subtle that only tech savvy peeps would get. My Customer: Think tattooed Silicon valley techie who wears a t-shirt to work, but makes 250K or more a year. This is a demographic growing fast, but rarely directly catered to. I like simple and clean, and prefer integrated logos, and while I'm open to any design idea. Current home made logo attached. I know, I know, this is why I'm asking for your help! :-)
