I'm a photographer focused on weddings and some lifestyle work as well. I'm 31, married and have a 4 yr old - similar to many of my clients in a number of ways. I'm a sole-proprietor who sometimes hires an assistant to shoot but all business and client interaction is done personally by me and with care. I like to keep things simple and everything up front - no surprise charges, no up-selling, no nonsense.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
A dwindling breed - people who appreciate quality photography and have the means to buy it. Usually late 20's to 30's professionals and often people with strong cultural/family ties. Half of my business is Indian and Pakistani weddings, which I adore. Large portion of clients come from Facebook. Typical total sale is about $3K.
The logo will be used in all the usual places - web, cards, watermarks on digital proofs, inside wedding albums, letterheads, etc.
The logo should include the name and a graphic. I'm thinking a mainly monochromatic palette with maybe a little colour...or maybe not. Overall it should project quality, coolness, approachability, and confidence. I'm a bit of a minimalist and I love the branding of Apple. As for as the graphic goes I'm fairly open - whether it's based on the initials TD or TDP or if it's something simple like a few monochrome bars I'm quite open to all options. No photos or clip art.
