KhaleejLaw got their new logo design by running a design contest:
New Logo for Website

Attorney & Law
Middle East legal site. Sharing laws in English and allowing persons to network. Target audience is mainly professionals but appeal should be for everyone.
Logo types to explore
The logo shall form the brand identity and shall be displayed on the website and all digital communication with visitors (e.g. email). Whilst I am open to various ideas, we would like to ensure that the identity remains modern and fluid and should not be associated with or compliment colours or styles which may be associated to a specific Gulf Corporation Council (GCC) country. Therefore, I prefer the placement of a entirely black logo in prominent/stylish font, but of course would be happy to see some colour Alternatively, if a designer would like to incorporate identifiers which are associated to a country, we would like to ensure that identifiers are used in a neutral fashion. For example, if the colours of a particular GCC country flag are used, they should not be prominent or should be used in a way to so as compliment any other GCC country flag. Please visit www.khaleejlaw.com for a logo we developed trial purposes. In terms of languages, we mainly need the logo to be in English, but would definitely like to see if Arabic (writing or calligraphy can be incorporated). We would like all designers to submit original work WITHOUT the use of clipart/logo programs. Artwork which does not comply with the foregoing will be rejected. Please also provide your details as once we have selected a winning logo, we will also look for the designer to play a part in further development of the website.
