We are a locally owned Vermont community bank with six branches. We have been in existence since 1886. We are the banking version of Cheers – where everyone knows your name. We pride ourselves on the personal attention given to our customers resulting in frequent personal visits and a friendly atmosphere.
People’s Trust Company (PTC) is operating in two very different worlds. Founded in 1886, PTC is proudly rooted in a deep history of community-oriented banking and has built a remarkable service culture over the past 125 years catering to customers aged 40-plus. Today, however, customers and prospective customers age 18-40 care more about online and mobile banking, where branches are virtual.

Target Audience: While we wish to target all ages, we are currently focusing on engaging the younger market. We are top heavy with an older client base and hope to draw in more new faces/customers. We realize the younger generation is geared more towards technology with an on-the-go lifestyle so we are keeping our products up-to-date to include many of the latest features and access.
