Mini gherkin was very patient, talented and creative. I was listened to and worked with in a personal and professional way. Thanks, Ken F
Great design, would work with again!
Great Designer, fast, friendly... Brilliant
Twelve stones was absolutely a pleasure to work with. I received multiple submissions that fell right in line with my brief, and my vision. She was quick to communicate and to submit designs. I found her through the invitation stage and picked her off of her eye and other designs. I was inspired by her work and asked her to come into my competition. Her files were beautiful, and she was very helpful for me as a new client to the website. I would highly recommend her to anyone else to invite into their projects.

How irinadwyer started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We sell homemade slice (for non-Australians, a flat, uncooked, square chocolate-type snack/dessert) using a recipe that we've been refining since 2007. Everytime it's made, people always rave about the recipe and request for it to be made again and again. We hope to expand to other products (not just slice) using the 'Mary's Famous' brand name in the future.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Mary is the heart of the brand. She's passionate (especially about the Richmond football club!), smart, friendly and knows how to have a good laugh. Mary knows exactly what she likes and is extremely lucky at winning competitions! Everyone who knows Mary has tasted her slice in the office, at parties or on special occasions.
We'd like Mary's image (in illustration format) to feature on the logo. The suggested yellow and black colours (although by no means do we have to use them) pay homage to her football team which is a large part of her life. Please see attached file for examples of fonts and images that we like.
Our slice is homemade but the brand is not homely. It features well-known flavours but isn't like anything you've had before. The packaging will be eco-friendly because we like the look but we're not an organic or 'green' business. We'll deliver value for money but are not 'cheap'. We're innovative, original and will consistently deliver but not too 'out there'. Please veer away from anything too feminine.
Finally, although we'll start with 'Mary's Famous Slice' this could evolve to 'Mary's Famous X' or 'Mary's Famous Y' depending on how we expand in the future. The logo you create will need to be able to accommodate these line extensions so we think the word 'slice' should be in a different font. The slice is what we are known for now but will only be part of our story.
