Travel & Hotel
A resort with healing mineral hot springs, gardens and 28 cottages located in Ashland, Oregon, undergoing a fresh transformation under new ownership.
Logo types to explore
We are looking for an inspired new logo for the Lithia Springs Resort, that features healing, thermal mineral hot springs coming into jetted soaking tubs in each of the 28 cottages. It’s located in Ashland, Oregon, in the valley between Cascade and Siskiyou mountains. Ashland was known as the “Carlsbad or Baden-Baden of America” in the early 1900s and we are resurrecting those “Taking to the Waters” simpler times, but with a fresh wand over the experience and aesthetics. The resort has the award-winning flower gardens, with a delightful variety of birds, as well as an organic herbs garden. Looking for a logo that will bring all these different elements together. Simple, fresh, charming – with an “OH, I have to go there!” appeal to all ages. The design of the cottages is modern naturalist, that’s whimsical and chic. A spa retreat or a spa oasis, celebrating healing waters AND nature. Also, a beautiful outdoor event venue….especially magical for weddings and other celebrations. In the interior design of the resort we are giving it a hip factor. We are using modern accents of browns, white, aqua, silver and sapphire, combining different textures, such as natural wood, silver, minerals, glass faux fur, and earthy eco-lux textiles. One highlight of the lobby will be a display/curiosity cabinet showcasing the healing powers of water, natural wonders, photos of water crystals, chunks of rock quartz, chalky zeolite and milky glass balls, references to back-in-time mineral springs “cures” (vintage element) from original sources and various “sunbeams of health and wellness” verbiage and quotes. Art will be dreamy, enlarged photos of water elements in silver frames. (rocks underwater, water reflections, etc.) We are looking to create a romantic hideaway, a private sanctuary, which is playfully chic and surprises with a soft-spoken luxury. Soak in the privacy of your own cottage, stroll in the gardens listening to the birdsong, and enjoy a cup of tea with fresh scones and organic local honey in the afternoon, and a glass of local wine in the early evening. Oregon Brand: Oregon – We Love Dreamers Lithia Springs Resort is a sister property to the following businesses: - Historic Ashland Springs Hotel - Organic Waterstone Spa & Salon - Farm to Table LARKS Restaurant Demographics of our target audience: Age 25-65 Both male & female. Want to attract people who are into hot springs, health and wellness, look for a getaway, couples looking for an outdoor wedding venue, outdoor enthusiasts, people looking for a spa retreat, rejuvenation, but want it to be hip and modern, rather than an old fashioned B&B. We want this resort to become a West Coast destination.
