Create a new voice and visual design that will stand out from other Foundation logos.
We are looking for a logo that will have a KS on the left side followed by the name of the organization on the right of the KS. It should look like they are wedded, like they are a team.
Take a look at the logo of University of Denver for reference, though we are not looking to replicate this exactly. We are looking for a similar concept (meaning an abreviation of the name on the left in a logo and the name outlined on the right hand side).
Once we pick a winner we will need the logo to be modified so it can be used for both the parent company - the Foundation - and the child company - the Yeshiva. Meaning the same logo will be used for both things but one will say "Kiryat Shemona Foundation" on the right of the KS and the other will say "Kiryat Shemona Hesder Yeshiva" on the right of the KS (using same font type and logo image).
Logo has to have a solid feel. We want something classy that will work in many diferent mediums such as business card, website, letterhead, videos etc.
We don't want it to look like a corporate logo. We want it to look like a more fluid and classy design, but not whimsical or charicature.
We are also contemplating the idea of using a map or illustration of the map of Israel with the Golan Heights (where Kiryat Shemona is located) highlighted as part of the logo in addition to the KS.
