About us
Our company, Sterman Masser Inc., is hosting a 5K run/fun walk for the first time this year. Our company is a family-owned potato growing, packing and shipping operation, hence the "Hot Potato" name. We are looking to attract people from outside our area to join in this first annual event.

One idea that we threw around was to have the "Hot Potato" man that would carry a sign signifying the number of years that we have been doing the race. So this year would be year 1. Also, we thought that if we can come up with a logo for the name that would be consistent but then have the ability for a character that we could change from year to year, we could keep it changing while still having a consistent brand. No matter what, we want it fun, fresh and inviting.
