My website is http://www.HomeMadeCheese.co.nz and I built it using Weebly.com. My template design is the second from the left and I can change colours, fonts and even the design if required to suit the winning logo.
When I make cheese I like to wear vintage style aprons (which I made myself) with a funky modern twist of colours and patterns. Check out this linkhttp://www.homemadecheese.co.nz/home-made-cheese-in-the-media.html
Think of the 1940’s/50’s wife/homemaker, with an apron on, pin up style, sassy, a bit flirty, funky but also loyal, stable and down to earth.
Other logos that I like are the 2 attached images from this website and the photo of the cow. I like the cow because it's quirky and a different perspective of a cow! Its fun looking although I am not promoting cows or cheese, it's about learning how to make cheese so keep this in mind.
It is not my image either and I'm not sure where I found it on the internet.
Another website I like is http://www.cheesemaking.com/
Words to describe my business and feeling of what I want in my logo include: "...In today's world of modern conveniences, maybe what we're really looking for is a 'sense of satisfaction' of something we have actually done ourselves..." I made this! Self-pride, satisfaction, exciting, bright, colourful, fresh, fun, friendly, creative, funky, enjoyable.
I would like smooth lines in the logo and if possible please limit the sharp angles.
Old school pin up design with modern colours (using old tried and true methods/techniques in today’s world) quality tradition time-tried and true methods with a modern colourful and funky edge, juxtaposed against the commercialism of cheese, with the added use of preservatives and additives.
Cheese has been made for thousands of years. Why is it now so regulated, complicated and standardised and flavourless? Consider the simplicity of how cheese has traditionally been made and compared this with the complexity of how it is made commercially today.
Wrap all this up in a logo and we will be good to go!
I appreciate all you have to offer and I thank you in advance for participating! Good Luck!!
