The Farmers Union is a new restaurant/bar destined to be San Jose’s premium Ale House/Sports Bar. The Farmers Union is located in the historic San Pedro Square in downtown San Jose, California and is only an 8 minute walk from HP Pavilion, home of the NHL San Jose Sharks. The Farmers Union will offer 51 beers on tap and boast the largest television screen in Silicon Valley to catch all the latest regional and national sporting events. Decorated with historical references of San Jose, The Farmers Union will provide California cuisine featuring many of the old favorites as well as a few healthier options at a great value. Restaurant is located in old Farmers Union Building. Target audience is mostly male ages 25-55. Additional Note to finalists: We would like to remove any reference to Alehouse or sports bar in the logo, we would like to incorporate the following: - Established 1874 Reestablished 2013 -We like the use of the Farmers Union Plow as shown on the newly uploaded original Farmers Union Certificate perhaps as a Silhouette. the tracker option is also nice. - Client also likes use of barley in the logo.  - We would like to move away from the "FU" but still incorporate it as a side logo on a T-Shirt but would not be the main logo for the restaurant/sports bar website or frontage sign.  Thank you! Inside of building has brick walls with high ceilings and a sports theme but subtle more non-traditional "sports-bar" decor but instead feature classic black & white local sports photography & historical memorabilia from San Jose and surrounding area. Possibly interested in having a silhouette used in the logo as an option that could eventually stand alone as the logo. We would also like to entertain a shortend version of the logo that says "The FU".
