How KJL started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We provide a managed secure file transfer service that is designed specifically for CPAs, accountants and bookkeepers. It enables people in this industry to exchange data securely and privately with their customers.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
This product is specifically designed for CPAs, accountants and bookkeepers so the style of the logo needs to be aligned with that industry. Check out http://www.intuit.com (the makers of QuickBooks) as an example of the style/color scheme that would be good. The users of this product need to feel like their data is being protected (which it is) so the logo needs to impress this emotion somehow.
Other emotions to convey are: professionalism, trust.
I will also be using the logo in a Web trust seal so a design that is conducive to that application would considered more.
I also like logos that are clean, crisp and simple, but convey the impressions that I am looking for.
Finally, the logo will be used in spots like https://secure.golockbox.com, and should be usable on any light backgrounds (i.e., white). Better just to make the background transparent.
