Designers from around the world are submitting creative designs for Kishore.vajipeyajula in logo design - silver.
Our goal at Banyan is to change the paradigm of waste management and recycling in India. We want to enhance community awareness around recycling and want a company name and logo that stands for life and sustainability. "Banyan" tree holds a huge significance in India - ecologically, mythologically, and culturally.
Here is a bit more as to who we are and what we do:
Banyan is a high technology social venture based in India that takes a holistic approach to recycling by being involved in all aspects of waste management from pre-sorting and collection to post-sorting and recycling. We are a rag-picker inclusive company that will employ workers at the bottom of the pyramid to perform day-to-day garbage collection and materials recovery activities at our sanitary recycling facilities. Banyan will incentivize its customers for green behaviors by giving away “Earth Credits”, redeemable for incentives like mobile minutes, coupons, cash, and carbon credits. Banyan’s proprietary GPS enabled truck routing platform, high capacity transfer stations, adoption of chemical, thermal and mechanical waste stream pre-treatment and long term contracts with customers on the demand side will allow us to provide exceptional service and achieve higher profit margins.
Green, Brown and Gold are the company colors. Stand for environment, earth and prosperity.
Be great if the logo reflects several elements such as nature, high tech nature of the company and the eco-system we are trying to build around recycling.
I am attaching an executive summary and a basic logo we have designed earlier.
