branchworth got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Logo Update for Tipp City Veterinary Hospital
Check out branchworth's Logo design contest…
We are an upscale veterinary hospital that treats dogs, cats, birds and exotics.
Logo types to explore
We are interested in updating our 15-year-old logo. Our current goals include: - limiting the logo to "Tipp City Veterinary Hospital" (we want to drop the "wellness center" and the tagline) - we would like to update the font to something cleaner and more modern - we would like to keep continuity with the old logo if possible (ie. same color, heart graphic of some sort, paw print, etc.) This is an area where we are flexible and open to suggestions. Files I have included: [TCVH - Vector Logo - Small.jpg] Our current logo 8/24/11: Design note: I would prefer to avoid drop shadows and reflective elements if possible. 8/25/11: Design note: If possible, we don't want the logo the shout "TIPP CITY" at the expense of not being able to easily read "Veterinary Hospital". The test I have been using is to think if the logo was embroiderer on a shirt, would you be able to read the "Veterinary Hospital" portion from several feet away. 8/25/11 - Design note: TCVH is located in a small town in the Midwest, not in a large city. "City skyline" graphics are not appropriate for our location. 8/25/11 - Design note: We prefer horizontal/rectangular designs - similar to #31 or #36- versus more "square" layouts (see #34). It's a plus if the logo is versatile and can be reconfigured into from a rectangular shape into a square shape (see # 22), but this is definitely not a requirement. 8/27/11 - Design note: I did want to mention that although we are hoping maintain some continuity between our existing logo and whatever we choose to use going forward, please don't hesitate to submit entires that don't conform to the "pets inside a heart mold". We are open to innovative designs.
