TweetLounge
We are an online team that works to achieve measurable results through our campaign-style approach to modern grassroots communications.
TweetLounge - is our latest social media offering. It's a tool to aggregate the conversation on Twitter around a client's specific brand by pulling in all tweets using a particular hashtag. It includes a leaderboard to rank top Twitterers using our hashtag, a "featured tweet", and a backend to allow moderation of all tweets.
Here's an example of our TweetLounge in action:

Our brand's name, "TweetLounge" is inspired by the famous modern architect Eero Saarinen and his concept of *Conversation Pits* http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eero_Saarinen
We're looking for a logo that can help explain this concept, graphically and tie it to Twitter.
Examples of conversation pits:

Also, we're deploying a mobile version of our tool and we'd like a logo variation that shows this. A "mobile lounge" if you will. See here:

Grassroots activists. Bloggers and social media influencers. Political campaign and non-profit staffers. Digital communicators.
If they're online and talking about politics, they're our people.
The logo must be web friendly and clear and understandable at small sizes.
A design that somehow incorporates the idea of a "conversation pit" in either a concrete or abstract manner is highly desirable.
It should also tie into Twitter and make it clear that TweetLounge is about talking, on Twitter.
The design should not look cartoonish, nor should it look cold and sterile.

The winning design will be Web 2.0 inspired, scream modern and cool, but will also be appropriate for corporate, political and non-profit branding.
