How Best of Parenting started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
What’s your company slogan?
Optional: Let's help each other out (shouldn't be be part of logo, it's more of a tag line that would come underneath it on website)
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Trusted Parents (tagline: Let’s help each other out) allows parents to connect to become part of a trusted community of other parents, where the trusted circles (such as the school or activities that children go to) enables them to share services with other parents. This is facilitated by the knowledge of where parents are located and the level of trust between them.
Target audience: Our key target is parents of children aged 1 to 12, so usually parents between the ages of 25 and 50 who are open to connecting with other parents and helping each other out.
Values to communicate:
Trust, support, family, confidence, empowerment.
Feelings and messages the design should communicate to users:
The logo (and icon for the app) should convey trust, familiar reliability, and being supported by a community of other parents.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Please do not just use these three colours as these are just a guideline of what may work! Also please try not to design the whole logo in 'baby colours' such as very pale pink and blue as this is a community of parents of all ages who want to trust each other, be empowered and support each other so please try to make some of the colours 'stronger' (without going overboard as they also need to be somewhat 'soft'!).
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Trusted Parents will also be an app (which means there will be more work associated to this for the winner if they are interested) and it would be great to see a design that can easily be transcribed into an app icon. For example, if the logo could contain an 'icon' that could be used as a unique 'mark' for both the logo and the app, this increases significantly the chances of winning this contest!
Also worth noting that this is about a community of parents and this is the key element that needs to come out, rather than the parent child relationship. So if you can find a way to represent a community that supports each other, that would be great.
