Cedar Therapeutic Massage
We want a new logo that will express the essence of our commitment to our clients and the healing and transformative power of our massages.
We ( Sue and Sean) founded Cedar Therapeutic Massage 10 years ago. It is located in the picturesque town of Comox on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. The coastal alpine setting is spectacular – the view from the clinic’s balcony, framed by the fresh green branches of giant cedars, is of the choppy blue waters of Comox Bay, with snow capped peaks rising behind. The primary wall in the clinic room is crafted of aromatic cedar.
We are registered massage therapists, who have undertaken years of training to earn professional accreditation. We have over 25 years of experience between us, and continue to deepen our knowledge base with post graduate courses.
Sean specializes in deep tissue and Swedish massage, while Sue prefers the light touch/high impact realm of cranial sacral massage. As a result, we are able to cater to all client preferences.
We are deeply committed to our clients. We take the time to really listen to everyone who walks through the door in order to uncover the deeper issues behind the physical symptoms. We feel that by knowing the "whole person" we can guide our clients along the path to a more vital, vibrant existence.
Our target market is people of all ages living in and around Comox and neighbouring Courtenay. They are old and young, male and female, athletic and sedentary. Who, after all, doesn't need a massage from time to time?
We currently treat everyone from seniors in chronic pain, to weekend warriors with injuries, to stressed out office workers.
We considered narrowing the target audience of our practice to a specific market segment, but in the end decided that our community was not large enough to sustain a focus on a very narrow market segment. And perhaps more importantly, we like the challenge of helping a variety of clients along the path to improved health and vitality.
What we aim to do for all our clients is to:
Help them feel better using touch
Take the pain away
Increase function, mobility and quality of life
Refresh and re-energize them
Heal, care for and support them
Listen carefully and guide them to improved health and well being
