The logo is for my psychotherapy practice.
What is my work about? The fundamental idea behind the systemic therapy is that individuals cannot be understood in isolation but rather within various systems, this includes the family system as well as work and social life. The relationship of therapist and client is strong and it aims to support the individual to change within the context of a supportive environment.
The therapist is more of a facilitator, accompanying the client, helping to provide, discuss and carry out solutions of their own.
From my perspective, there are two important keywords:
• you help the client to change the perspective (this is what Perspektivenwechsel means), look at a problem from another point of view in order to get another approach.
• the communication between therapist and client is more on an equal footing. In German, the expression is “auf Augenhöhe”, this means “at eye level”.
My idea for a logo is about two eyes (for the meaning of communication on equal level) – graphic ones, without eyebrows or lashes, two circles in it (pupil and iris) – and to play with these two eyes in the meaning of change of perspective, so two eyes in different colors, shapes.
Abstractions from this idea are very welcome, indeed the logo should play more with the idea of eyes .
