Logo & Stationery for Software Consulting Startup

Need a clean, modern, impressive logo for software product consulting company focused in the "new web2.0" space. Should convey "integrity", "quality", "experience", "stateoftheart", "reliable". I maybe asking for contradicting concepts, but thats where excellence lies!!

I have a barebones website setup, you can find more about the "content areas" that Expera will focus on from the website above. Mostly the company is all about providing High End consulting based on expertise derived from 10-15 years of industry experience.

I need a logo that sends a very professional message. My customers will be at Fortune 500 companies, Startups and inbetween! Yes I got them all covered.. I have customers in those segments presently. Thats why I am looking for something thats both "corporate" and "web2.0".. I dont want to come across as "expensive" - but want to come across as "Excellent" "FairValue" "StateofTheArt" (hence web2.0) and "experienced" "seasoned" "history of delivering value" etc. which is more around the whole "corporate" side of things.

I will be using that logo on my website, business cards and the correspondences (invoices, proposals etc.). I want a logo first, and have no color schemes chosen (so be very creative, I will ask you to change stuff as I give feedback), and I tend to give lots of feedback.. so this will be a great interactive and fun experience for all involved!!

I am looking for something very "web 2.0" so that is the look I am going for. http://www.web20logo.com has samples. We are in the "web 2.0" timeframe, so I would like to stick with that design aesthetic however, I am open to other ideas, so please don't feel pigeon-holed!

The logo will be used for the header image on all pages, on the biz card and also on the letter heads. I would also prefer something that has an elements that I could shink down to use as a favicon and in other parts of the app as well.

Logo Description: I am looking for something that is clean, professional, fairly simple, and iconic. Anybody who looks at it should go "man thats cool and rocksolid" I want to work with those guys!

Terms: The winning designer will be required to sign all copyrights of the winning entry over to me and will be required to sign and fax/mail/scan back a written agreement.

Non-winners may use designs in their portfolios if they wish provided that they clearly mark the logo as "designed on spec" and change the text to something generic (your call) ... they may also resell losing designs provided that they change the "Expera" and the "experience and expertise" text to something generic (like "Your Company") or something different (like "Experialus" or "expecting excitement"... which could be helpful for anyone who played off the text).

Payments will be made via Credit Card (other arrangements can be considered).

File Format: I would like the winning entry to be delivered as a vector image in PSD AI and all other non stretchable (pixel)file formats.
