The Close (as in closing a deal) is new, forward thinking, authoritative, and bold online publication that will offer agents and brokers strategy, insight, industry gossip, entertainment, and up-to-the-minute technology reviews to give them an edge in the constantly evolving online real estate market. Our contributors will be top producing brokers, startup owners, and technology and branding experts. Basically, we're going to be Inman's slightly cooler, more new media savvy older brother.
Our three year old main site currently gets more than 1,000,000 page views per month, so we have the editorial and SEO team in place to make The Close a dominant player in the real estate space.
Our target audience is real estate professionals, from agents and brokers, to owners of boutique brokerages and tech companies. As you can see from the attached document, we are looking for a logo that says "media company" rather than "real estate company". Hip is good, but not quite hipster if that makes any sense.
