Cudoto
We are a new social media startup currently in stealth mode. Our aim is to connect people and inspire real world activity/creativity. Our name Cudoto comes from: 'Create Unite Do. Together'. Unfortunately we cannot provide more info on us or our product at this time, but we can say that we plan to be a globally active and regularly used web platform and iPhone application.
Socially active tech savvy users 16-50 years of age. Our users will usually also be Facebook and possibly Foursquare/Gowalla users. They will have an interest in 'real world' activities.
Although we want a modern web feel to the site, we love traditional early century aesthetics (eg: Bauhaus, Constructivism).
We don't have a fixed opinion about the case of the letters as we find all options work: Cudoto, CUDOTO, cudoto.
We have selected the hepatica nobilis flower (attached images) as our mascot. We think this could be an interesting starting point for a logo. We would like to allow the colour scheme of the website and mobile applications to be inspired by your design. Although we have a clear idea of what we like, we are really interested in the creative possibilities that you will come up with.
We need a logo that can be stand alone text, image/text, and image alone...as this would become our iphone icon.
Please feel free to experiment with colors but our preferences are for cold spectrum colours (eg: sky blue, indigo)
We love smart minimal designs that do not date fast. Although inspired by a flower that can be found anywhere, we would like the logo to be distinctively recognizable and individual to us.
Some thoughts:
-no cartoon style
-no reflections
-please do not use any stock images or clip art
We are very committed to collaboration and will be providing lots of feedback on the designs.
The files we will require are:
Print file format - .ai (CMYK)
Web file format - .jpg and layered .psd (RGB)
