osolo got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Logo (2 sizes) for "Status Shuffle" Facebook application
Check out osolo's Logo design contest…
We need two standard Facebook logos sizes for our new application (16x16 and 75x75).
What's your vision?
Desired Color Scheme: Bright background (at least for the 16x16 icon) Desired Style: Please see description Accepted File Formats: Vector Formats (.eps, .pdf or .ai); Layered Formats (.psd or .tiff) Status Shuffle is a Facebook application that lets you automatically change your Facebook status message to something fun and interesting. You can see the application at http://apps.facebook.com/status-shuffle/ We need a 16x16 logo to go be used on the sidebar and the top of the application. A related 75x75 logo will be used to advertise the application on the FB app directory (http://www.facebook.com/apps/). We would like the logo to contain the industry standard symbol for shuffle (like the one iTunes has, see http://johnzeratsky.com/images/blogimages/000714/shuffle.gif for an example). The 16x16 has to have a bright background because we want it to stick out. We are currently using bright pink, but anything but blue will do. The 16x16 doesn't have to be a scaled down version of the 75x75, but they must appear related. The 16x16 is the more important of the two because it will be seen by a lot more people. The 16x16 icon will be used on a #FFFFFF as well as a #F7F7F7 background. Sorry if that was a bit long :) I hope to see some cool ideas here soon. Good luck!  Â
