Amazing artwork. Very responsive. Captures the branding need of the organization perfectly. Two thumbs up!
How Nickbarendt started their logo design journey
Bootstrapped startup to create a Software as a Service company catering to the needs of Electrical Engineers. Specifically, offloading computationally intensive operations from their local computers to the cloud, allowing them to get answers faster and rapidly iterate on their designs.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Electrical Engineers, particularly designers of Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs). College educated. Work for a wide range of businesses and variety of industries. The ones we're targeting are seeking a better, faster way to use their existing Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools.
Looking for a balance between fun and professional for the logo - to capture the idea of "there are better tools available to do your job than you've had access to in the past" and the relatively staid/boring, low-quality tools that they're used to.
Need a logo for use on website and promotional materials. Lots of room for creativity. Working the cloud angle would okay, but that seems to be everywhere these days (maybe means we should pick a different name for the company :-). Electronics components or schematic symbols might be interesting visual elements for the target market, but just a thought.
please do not include the ", Inc." in the logo lettering; just too distracting
the logo should be capable of being reproduced in monochrome (e.g., B&W) without a complete loss; e.g., careful with those gradients
