I created some designs playing around with fonts but nothing jumped out as stylish enough -- looking for something eye catching, fun and professional so people (visitors to my site) feel as though it's a top-of-the-line review site and food blog. I also want to add a charity component and have events where I raise money for different charities at the restaurants I include as "the best" in my city (Philadelphia) -- although I don't want the logo to be location-specific.
Also, I have an idea where it would be an older guy with glasses who looks as though he's some sort of critic and to have some sort of picture representing food within the design. The Scoops Ice Cream logo is a great example for the style. Not for color direction.
