fixingmemoryleakc got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Logo required for a meat/BBQ brand. Open to suggestions, provided it's unpredictable & unordinary.

Grade-A Jerk is a meat brand, specialising mainly in BBQ products. We plan to expand our product range under the Grade-A Jerk brand. For reference, "Grade-A Jerk" is a simple play on words. Our brand personality is fun, extremely laid back and perhaps somewhat ridiculous. Logo will be used primarily on the physical product itself, but also on the packaging, our website, social media etc.
I’m very open to the ridiculous. Attention grabbing visuals as long as they’re well done. I have a deep appreciation for the off-beat, over the top, and silly things - again, as long as they’re done well. If you have an absurd idea… even if it doesn't visually match the words Grade-A Jerk, bring on the madness! A giant fire-breathing grizzly bear with a propeller beanie and a jet pack, clutching a train? Cool. A 19th century nature sketch of a proud fox with a vintage camera strapped on its head? Awesome. A squirrel with big needle injector, riding a dog as it chases a cat? Nice. I’m totally serious. The money is guaranteed in this contest. If we end up with a strategically safe logo for Grade-A Jerk, awesome. But I’m hoping for one that people see and think, that’s crazy, what the heck is Grade-A Jerk?!” This is your chance to run with that crazy idea that always made you laugh but was too risky to ever use. Take that idea, stuff it with dynamite, wrap it in cow intestines, hurl it into the sun, then wrap the sun with more sheep bladder.
