Targeted at a Gen X and Y audience, aged 28-42, mid-to-high socio-economic status.
They predominantly live busy inner city lives. Working in fast-paced, high-pressured, work environments.
They are drawn to the product because they know the importance of getting the right nutrients but lack the time to do the preparation each day.
They are concerned about their health, and either living busy, active lifestyles that leave little time to prepare healthy food, or they are aiming to improve their health by adding daily smoothies to their regimen.
MEANING OF THE NAME
The name Blend Well conveys the wellness that the smoothies promote and also the convenience of having the pre-packed blends delivered to your door. Customers “blend well” nutritionally and conveniently.
Blend Well’s brand characteristics are natural, healthy, convenient, energetic and fun.
The nutritious nature of the products and their benefits should shine through in the design of the brand.
By looking at the brand mark, the customer should get an instant feel of not only what the company/product is but the life, energy, nutrition and uplifting nature that the products and their ingredients bring.
It will express an active, healthy lifestyle in a relaxed, informed way.
A graphic element must accompany the company’s name in the design of the brand mark. Both stacked and long logos will be considered.
The inclusion of smoothies, fruit, vegetable, blender graphic elements will be considered but they mustn’t be generic looking. They must have a unique, abstract, modern feel but not be too hard or edgy. They need to convey the natural, approachable character of the product and company.
Final art should be in vector format, if applicable, and layered PSD file otherwise.
The logo should work on light or dark background (can be different versions). We will also need a black and white version.
Logo needs to legible at a small size.
FUTURE DESIGN JOBS
This logo is the first of many design needs. The successful designer will have the opportunity to become the primary designer for our company's ongoing needs, including but not limited to, product packaging, website design, and marketing collateral.
