We felt that the designer read our brief carefully and knew just what we were looking for. He provided a number of simple and powerful new logo options, while while at the same time was sensitive to our old logo and the history we were trying to retain. Awesome job!
How Onymous started their logo design journey
We are a start-up company already involved in a project where we manage a gaming community revolving around a particular game and provide them with several resources and services. We'll also be acquiring a cyber cafe located in Paris in a few weeks and this particular project, Cyber Nation, is a way for us to extend our online community to several new games and to promote our future physical location.
We're all young entrepreneurs who play video games during our leisure time so we can easily identify with our target audience.
We'd like the identity of the "Cyber Nation" to reflect a fun and friendly community as well as the quality of the services we provide. It's something you want to be a part of.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our target audience is PC gamers and while it is mostly comprised of males from 13-25 years old to this date, we'd like to think the games our community will revolve around are well suited for a lot of people who haven't given them a try yet.
The website will be in french (if you plan on using a country or continent in your submission you might as well make it France or Europe).
The games featured at first will be : Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead (1&2), Counter strike. Later on : Battlefield, (possibily) Call of Duty. So mostly First Person Shooters. But disregard that for the logo, we'd like to appeal to all game genres.
We feel "Cyber Nation" is a rather inspirational name, at least design wise. Here are a few ideas we had : a flag or "piece of land" could represent the Nation and a printed circuit board texture or cables could represent the Cyber aspect. These are just ideas though so you should feel free to try something else.
- Must say: Cyber Nation
- Has to look good on a black background and will be used on every page of a website. Might end up being used on T-shirts as well. The color scheme is left to your discretion.
Suggestions (meaning if you have an idea you think is really good and it doesn't fit the suggestions, it's OK, please submit it anyways):
- Ability to resize (vector based).
