Helium Studios needed a new logo design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 294 designs submitted by 53 freelance designers.
bfast.com.au
This online book-keeping software has been developed exclusively for freelancers, sole traders and small business trading in Australia.
Manage your day to day book-keeping with unparalleled ease; email invoices to your clients, record incoming payments and outgoing expenses, and complete your BAS in seconds. Print off detailed reports for your yearly tax return.
It's everything a self-employed professional needs, and nothing else!
Anyone who works for themselves in Australia.
Designers, performers, tradesmen, consultants, facilitators, developers, photographers, tow truck drivers, etc.
Anyone who can't stand complicated accounting software with insurmountable learning curves.
We anticipate mainly Generation Y users, so keep it predominantly Web-2.0!
This is an online service, so we need a horizontal layout.
We would like the logo to consist of an icon/graphical and text. We will need to be able to use the icon without the text from time to time (shortcut icon etc), so keep it close to 1:1.
We like the idea of an icon on the left and text on the right, so that we can present the logo as "■ bfast" or "■ bfast.com.au". We'll consider designs with text underneath as well.
We will need a regular logo for white backgrounds and reverse for dark backgrounds. The winner will need to supply artwork in Adobe Illustrator format (no bitmap content please, ie bevels, glows etc), and include any fonts used.
Hint – 'bfast' is an acronym (these may help you for ideas, but we don't want to use them in the logo):
