The O, T and F in OneTrueFan need to be emphasized, either by camel-casing them, making them larger or other means.
OneTrueFan is one word, please. No spaces.
The design needs to be horizontal.
It will be going in the top left of pages on the web site in a large size and will also be going into the plugin bar itself in a much smaller size (the logo must render well at 16 pixels in height).
We ripped off the original Activision logo wholesale (see attached images) and while we're happy if you riff on the rainbow theme, feel free to get creative and go in a completely new direction. In fact, unless you feel STRONGLY about the rainbow, try something new!
We'll be making t-shirts, stickers, physical patches (heck, yeah!) and other marketing materials, so the logo needs to be something that prints well. Back in the day, when I was growing up in Florida, I used to daydream in class, doodling surf company logos on book covers. Surf companies excelled in logos with great outlines -- they were highly individual but without tons of inner detail and, as a result, anybody could draw or trace them. We want a logo that kids will want to doodle someday.
Multiple colors is fine, but it needs to look good greyscale as well.
This is our first time using 99designs and we're super excited! If you have any questions whatsoever, email me at email@example.com or call me at 415-860-5055 and we'll chat more.
