How JHamilton started their logo design journey
TopicTagger automatically tags, organizes and personalizes news content -- it's like having your own personal magazine editor. The product has been working behind the scenes at national publications for the last two years, but we are about to release a new product for the general public. This logo will get broad exposure, and will be the base for several more icons and logos for other elements of the product suite.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our typical end user is a creative knowledge worker, who frequently reads web sites and magazines to keep up with the latest in his or her field. The logo should also appeal to the editors and publishers of trade and professional publications.
We are looking for multiple, probably (but not necessarily) bright colors. Some themes that the logo could draw on: categorization, organizing, tagging, discovery, putting in order. The graphic elements should be clean and contained. Ideally, it should be possible to condense the logo into a "favorite" icon for the web while still maintaining a sense of identity.
